Welcome to 1st Turramurra Scout Group! We are one of the strongest and oldest Groups in the district, with our origins dating back to 1920. Our Group has a history of achievement and purpose of which we are extremely proud.

​​1st Turramurra currently offers four sections:

• Cubs : ages 8-10

• Scouts : ages 11-14

• Venturers : ages 15-17

• Rovers : ages 18-25

Our good levels of both male and female membership in all sections are testimony that the Group never rests on its laurels. As Robert Baden-Powell said, Scouting is a "movement, because it moves forward. As soon as it stops moving, it becomes an organisation, and is no longer Scouting."

While they are having fun, we offer your children a wide range of opportunities and experiences. Our program allows them to develop and perform at their own pace away from the pressures of school and modern living. 

Your children are offered opportunities to make new friends, learn new skills, accept new challenges, develop leadership and responsibility and obtain the tools to cope with life's challenges... all in a safe and fun environment.

​1st Turramurra, like all community groups, relies on the families in the Group for support for such activities as membership of the Group Support Committee, fundraising, maintenance, support for leaders, publicity, etc. Without such support the Group cannot run effectively or to its full potential.
