What is needed before your child can be INVESTED into their Scout section

 

Go to the SCOUTSHOP: scoutshop.com.au  to buy for your child:

  • a POLO or Button up Shirt: Cub (yellow), Scout (green) or Venturer (maroon) colour sleeves - Wear this as soon as you have it but you can continue to wear your e.g. Cub Shirt in Scouts until you buy the Scout Shirt (Green).
  • a WOGGLE: Cub, Scout, Venturer or  brown leather woggle.
  • They will also need beige coloured shorts or long pants which can be purchased at the Scout Shop or a clothing outlet.

Note: These are needed before they can be Invested into their Scout Unit (section).

SCARF:

  • The initially supplied 1st Turramurra Scarf is free and is presented to Youth during their INVESTITURE Ceremony which usually takes place after attending for 6 weeks. This completes their "Intoduction to Scouting".

Parents are encouraged to attend these important ceremonies.
